What is the mortgage rate in 2023 in Morocco ?
In 2023, the annual mortgage rate in Morocco varies between 4.5% and 5% excluding VAT.
Why take out a home loan?
The mortgage allows you to buy an apartment or a house by advancing only part of the price at the time of signing at the notary, the rest will be paid by the bank against interest. You will then repay the bank each month for the amount borrowed and the interest.
Is it mandatory to have a contribution to buy a house?
No, you can borrow the entire purchase price of the house, but this is exceptional. Banks generally require between 10% and 20% down payment.
